I’ve tried to start this blog twice. Each time I think I managed a half dozen posts before it started collecting dust. The obvious reasons were the same as they’d be for any other failed endeavour…

I’m lazy. I’m unmotivated. I’d really rather be playing video games.

Those three little nuggets are constant roadblocks to anything “extracurricular” that I attempt. But I’ve also realized there are a couple more challenges specific to blogging that I have to overcome if this will ever prove useful.

I can’t write and I don’t know what to say.

I think the former is actually the easier one to beat and I’m hoping I just get better with practice. The latter is the real problem. I have plenty of things I’d like to say, but I refuse to let this thing degrade into a steaming pile of “I saw a bird on the lawn today…” posts. So for starters, we’ll keep it simple. I’m gonna write about my experiences with two software development projects I’m currently involved with, and throw in a few other things tech related that interest me (video games, hardware, etc.). I’ll post more specifics on the software projects soon.

More to come.
